Enet Compatible BMW Models

A BMW ENET cable (Ethernet to OBD2) is intended for BMW F-series cars, as well as some i-models and early G-series. It is primarily used with software like E-SYS to code, configure, and diagnose the car's electronic systems.

Below is an overview of which BMW models are compatible with the ENET interface, primarily for the years approx. 2010–2019, before BMW fully transitioned to the G-series with other communication solutions.

✅ Compatible BMW models (F-series and some G-/I-series)

💡 Note: ENET is not used on older E-series cars (which use K+DCAN cable), and newer G-series often use ENET or ICOM, but with more advanced requirements.

❌ Incompatible Models

• E-series (e.g. E46, E60, E90, E70) → Use K+DCAN

• Newer G-series after 2020+ → Requires ICOM or more advanced interfaces

• Mini and other brands → Requires brand-specific solution

• Toyota Supra (BMW platform) → Requires other interfaces or OEM-level
