To check which mode your device is in, press the power button. If the green LED light flashes, it means the 50448 Plus 2in1 is in GM mode. If the red LED light flashes, it is in Ford mode.
TPMS 50448 Plus 2in1 Usage
1. Requires 1x 9V battery to operate.
2. Put the car in TPMS learning mode (the car will honk twice).
3. Starting from the left front tire, point the antenna of the dedicated tire pressure monitoring tool upwards towards the side of the tire near the valve stem. Press and release the button and wait for the speaker to emit a signal. When the speaker beeps, the sensor information is read and the turn signal light for the next position illuminates.
4. Follow this order to reset the TPMS one by one: Front left, front right, rear right, rear left.
5. After all sensors have been reset, the car honks twice, indicating that the TPMS relearn is complete.
How to put the car in TPMS relearn mode
For GM series cars:
1. Put the gear in P mode.
2. Use cruise control to select TPMS relearn mode in the dashboard settings.
3. Honking will be heard twice and the TPMS indicator will flash, meaning that learning mode has been activated.
For Ford series cars:
1. Put the gear in P mode.
2. With the ignition OFF, press and release the brake pedal.
3. Turn the ignition from OFF to RUN position three times, ending in the RUN position.
4. Press and release the brake pedal.
5. Turn the ignition to the OFF position.
6. The ignition goes from OFF to RUN position three times, ending in the RUN position.
7. Honking is heard once and the TPMS indicator flashes, meaning that learning mode has been activated.
