Test Preparation:
Unscrew the cover of the brake fluid reservoir and remove the probe guard cover of the test pen. Press the power button lightly, and press it for three seconds after the screen display to turn on the setting of brake fluid type.
Test the water content:
1. Select DOT 3/4/5.1 according to the type of brake fluid being tested.
2. Immerse the metal probe on the front of the pen in the brake fluid in the reservoir, making sure that both probes are in contact with the surface of the fluid.
3. Judge the performance of the brake fluid by the water content on the display.
4. After completing the test, all indicator lights will turn off after 1 minute and the pen will enter the power saving mode. A battery can be used for a long time and consumes little power. It is recommended that this device be kept in the vehicle to keep track of brake fluid quality, and is easy and quick to operate.
Notes:
1. When installing the battery, the metal probe should not touch any object.
2. After each test, wipe off any liquid from the metal probe with a dry cloth or paper.
3. If the skin comes into contact with brake fluid, wash the skin thoroughly with water immediately.
4. Do not expose the brake fluid to air for long periods of time, as brake fluid is highly absorbent.
